Projetos Pathfinder

 

          

O Pathfinder é um estudo "adicional" a um projeto de investigação (host study – estudo anfitrião) que mapeia processos dos ciclos de pesquisa para a identificação dos obstáculos fundamentais enfrentados pelo estudo anfitrião, tais como os relacionados às lacunas de competências, infraestruturas tecnológicas, sistemas e ferramentas de dados. De forma crítica, procura ajudar a identificar soluções para superar estes obstáculos, com base nos conhecimentos e nas melhores práticas.

 

O Pathfinder tem como dinâmica a utilização da ferramenta chamada “Tracker” para organização das atividades desenvolvidas nos estudos anfitriões. A ferramenta compreende o mapeamento de prazos, desafios e limitações, potencialidades, aprendizados, ferramentas e habilidades necessárias para cada uma das etapas do estudo anfitrião, quais sejam referentes ao planejamento de pesquisa; gerenciamento e acesso aos dados; análise de dados; resultados e impacto; e envolvimento das partes interessadas - stakeholders. O preenchimento do “Tracker” se beneficia de métodos de produção e coleta de dados, junto à equipe que desenvolveu (ou desenvolve) o estudo. Deste modo, a pesquisa qualitativa se apresenta como uma excelente estratégia para obter as informações necessárias e tornar o mapeamento mais fidedigno às etapas do estudo anfitrião.
