ARCA – Institutional repository
Aligned with national and international debates on open access to knowledge, Fiocruz officially launched, in April 2011, its institutional repository, named Arca and managed by the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information and Communication in Health (ICICT).
Arca aims to widely host and provide Fiocruz intellectual production, in consonance with the movement for open access to scientific information.
The repository gives more visibility to research papers, theses and dissertations, technical reports, videos and a large range of digital content originated from research, teaching and technology development at Fiocruz.
The institution also launched, in March 2014, its Policy on Open Access to Knowledge.
