Webinar highlights lessons from studies to strengthen health research in Latin America and the Caribbean
On 11 December 2025, at 11:00 (Brasília time), the webinar “Strengthening Research Capacity and Collaboration in Health: lessons from Pathfinder studies in Latin America and the Caribbean” will take place, organised by The Global Health Network Latin America and the Caribbean (TGHN LAC).
The event will bring together researchers from institutions in the TGHN LAC consortium, including Fiocruz, who are involved in the Pathfinder studies to present findings, experiences, and recommendations that can support structural advances in health research across the region.
What are the Pathfinder studies?
Pathfinder studies were designed to analyse real-world health research processes, identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and strengthen local capacities across diverse contexts.
The initiative aims to enhance institutional collaboration, support more efficient research practices, and foster innovation in areas such as epidemiological surveillance, clinical trials, and participatory research.
