Fiocruz holds a new data clinic with a guest from Institut Curie
The next data clinic session of the Fiocruz Scientific Computing Program (PROCC) done in partnership with The Global Health Network Latin America and the Caribbean (TGHN LAC), is titled "Toward a digital twin: Building multiscale models for Systems Biology" and will take place at 12:30 pm (GMT -3), on July 10th, online, via the Zoom platform, with the researcher from the Computational Systems Biology for Cancer team at the Institut Curie, in Paris, Vincent Noël.
Vincent's main research theme is the modelling of biological systems, developing multiscale models that integrate cellular signalling with simulations of biological tissues, with a focus on the interaction between cancer and the immune system.

What are PROCC collaborative sessions?
PROCC's collaborative sessions are opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience in research for projects under development or that require improvement. A collaborative space for discussing quantitative methods and analyzes and their developments. In 2024, the sessions are held in partnership with The Global Health Network Latin America and the Caribbean (TGHN LAC).
Who can participate in PROCC collaborative sessions?
Students and/or researchers, both from Fiocruz and external, who are interested in knowing methodological options to answer their research questions, have already started their analysis, but wish to discuss the first results, or who have completed their analysis and want to discuss the results or possible developments are invited to the data clinic.
Sessions take place on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 1:30 pm in a remote format.
How do I register for PROCC's Data Clinic sessions?
Registration for work presentations in the second quarter of 2024 is open. This is an opportunity to boost your unit’s research!
