About: I am a graduate student in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Calabar, with a background in Biology Education. My research focuses on the phytochemical characterization and in vitro heme polymerization inhibition potential of Vernonia amygdalina leaf extracts, with implications for antimalarial drug discovery. I have experience in teaching, academic support, and the application of laboratory and analytical techniques in biological research. My interests include molecular biology, natural product research, and the use of indigenous plants in addressing global health challenges. I am passionate about research, mentorship, and contributing to scientific solutions that improve health outcomes, particularly in Africa.
