The Global Health Network Lusophone working group, along with the Fiocruz Hub and the REDe network, built free and downloadable materials based on guidelines issued by the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation

Several countries are facing the challenge of providing a safe environment for the return to classroom-based learning in schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is especially important in countries with low vaccination rates and the widespread impact of new strains. Considering this scenario, The Global Health Network Lusophone working group, formed by researchers from Portuguese-speaking countries, has designed communication kits, in Portuguese, to help school managers to plan and communicate the most up-to-date strategies related to COVID-19 preparedness and prevention.

The Polytechnic Health School Joaquim Venancio, which is a well-recognized Fiocruz unit, issued guidelines on biosafety regarding the return of classes, which based the messages in the campaign.  Another important partner in this initiative is the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (Unilab), which also endorsed this initiative.

The pieces are organised into 5 kits and are labeled according to their target group.
